One of the many joyful things about Fennel & Fern’s sister site gardengrab is that it opens up a big opportunity for discovering new blogs. Since the launch, our diet of gardening blogs has grown to be rich and abundant. Every month from now on, we’ll be posting about three of the loveliest sites that have cropped up on gardengrab.

1. Things We Make
Claire and Ed Sutton (and occasionally their son George) run this exquisitely-photographed recipe, gardening and craft blog. The family are incredibly creative and have made all sorts of things, from cabinets to angry birds games. Some of the food photography will make you melt. Visit Things We Make.
2. The Blackberry Garden
Alison Levey’s wonderfully thoughtful gardening blog conveys her strong passion for plants and gardens. It is also beautifully-written and Alison has a habit of teaching readers all sorts of brilliant facts without even trying, simply through her own meanderings. Visit The Blackberry Garden.
3. The Garden Smallholder
Karen Jackson at The Garden Smallholder is a former winner of the Fennel & Fern photography competition, and it’s easy to see why. Her plant photography is fantastic. She blogs about her vegetable garden and the chickens she keeps. Visit The Garden Smallholder.
You can of course find hundreds more blogs by skipping over to gardengrab right now, as well as submitting your own posts to find even more garden-loving readers.
